The Ochsner MD Anderson partnership includes a location in Covington at St. Tammany Cancer Center - A Campus of Ochsner Medical Center. Ochsner Health and St. Tammany Health System partnered in 2014 to grow services and enhance access to care for area residents.

Ochsner is the state’s leader in cancer care, and we partnered with the nation’s leader in cancer care, the world-renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center, to bring an enhanced level of comprehensive cancer services to our patients.

The newly created Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center provides patients with leading-edge care based on the same protocols and practice standards as MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. This new partnership will allow patients to access to cancer treatments that are among the most advanced in the nation — close to home.
