We Treat Developmental Disorders

At the Michael R. Boh Center for Child Development – Live Oak location in Covington,  our multidisciplinary team helps kids overcome challenges associated with developmental and behavioral disorders, ranging from ADHD to autism to spina bifida. We offer physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language services and more to help kids reach their full potential.

St. Tammany Health System’s inpatient pediatric unit and pediatric emergency department are now a Certified Autism Center™ (CAC), a designation granted by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). The designation means that physicians and staff in those departments completed an additional autism-specific training and certification program to improve patient outcomes and experiences.
