At Ochsner Andrews Sports Medicine Institute, we take pride in supporting athletes at all levels in our communities. Our comprehensive sports program includes 22 athletic trainers, spanning 10 counties serving 29 schools including 3 colleges with thousands of student athletes treated annually.
Ochsner has partnered with world-renowned sports medicine surgeon James R. Andrews, MD, to launch the Ochsner Andrews Sports Medicine Institute. Dr. Andrews brings his expertise, research and education platform, recently launched as Andrews Medicine, to strengthen Ochsner’s best-in-class sports medicine, athletic training, performance training and physical therapy.
